In case you weren't aware, Firefox version 3 is now available for download. Its tasty. Apparently Opera 9.5 is faster though. Regardless, they both kick the poop out of IE for everything except watching Netflix on demand.

Man, I hear you about Netflix. That burns me up. It used to be the only thing I needed IE for was Windows Updating. Finally, that's no longer an issue...and I develop a severe addiction to TV and documentaries over Netflix. Oh Firefox, hear our plea!

Can't you use the IETab plugin for FF and get around all that nonsense?
Albeit it does just open an explorer session in a firefox tab/container, it's still my fav.

You're right about it opening up an IE session inside of FF. That means you're using the resources of both FF and IE at the same time.

It's not really a FF issue. The problem stems from Netflix using an ActiveX plugin for their service. The plea should be directed toward my favorite gigantic video rental service.
